Summary :

Spalling to external window surrounds had been identified during recent survey works undertaken by the local authority and a tender for the necessary repairs was initiated.

The works were required to be carried out during the Easter half-term break but the extent of repair works required necessitated the project being postponed until the summer holidays.

Refurbishment :   

SBS Limited secured the main contract and employed JDF RS Limited to undertake the concrete repair and refurbishment works.

The external components were repaired using Sika Monotop 615, Sikagard 545W and Sikagard 675W coating system.

The project was completed within the allotted timeframe and a Sika guarantee was obtained to give the client the necessary assurances.
